BARC Week 52: Reckitt maintains the top spot in top Advertisers category

BARC Week 10: Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean maintains the lead spot in the Top Brands Category

Top Advertisers

In the week 52 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India weekly report, Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd . Continues to lead in the first spot among the top advertisers’ category with Ad volumes of 3005.75 (‘000 secs) followed by Hindustan Lever Ltd in the second position with 1914.69 (‘000 secs) and Ponds India in the third spot with 1058.66 (‘000 secs). ITC Ltd took a big leap with 862.35 (‘000 secs) from 6th position to 4th position compared to last week. Cadburys India Ltd. slipped to 5th position with 594.84 (‘000 secs) followed by Amazon Online India Pvt. Ltd. to the 6th spot with Ad volumes of 558.44 (‘000 secs). Facebook Inc retained its 7th position with 471.11 (‘000 secs). Pepsi Co entered the chart this week with Ad volumes of 428.83 (‘000 secs) at the 8th spot followed by Colgate Palmolive India Ltd. with 422.25 (‘000 secs) at the 9th spot. Glaxo SmithKline retained its 10th position with 421.9 (‘000 secs).

Top Brands

In the Top brands category, Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean glued to its first spot with Ad volumes of 593.31 (‘000 secs). Dettol Antiseptic Liquid gained the second spot with 297.98 (‘000 secs). Lizol slipped to the third spot with 269.09 (‘000 secs). Harpic Bathroom Cleaner took a steep leap from 8th spot to 4th spot with 268.9 (‘000 secs) followed by Dettol Disinfectant Spray with 258.32 (‘000 secs) from 9th spot to 5th spot compared to last week. Amazon.in also jumped to the 6th position with Ad volumes of 248.8 (‘000 secs) followed by Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Moisture Body Lotion to the 7th spot with 237.41 (‘000 secs). Two new brands, Doritos Nacho with 226.92 (‘000 secs) in the 8th spot and Dettol Foaming Handwash with 219.33 (‘000 secs) in the 9th spot entered the chart this week. Vanish Oxi Action with 217.68 (‘000 secs) slipped from 4th spot to the 10th spot compared to the last week.
