Shariq Patel has stepped down as Chief Business Officer from Zee Studios, according to media sources. He was associated with the company for a stint of over 4 years.
At Zee Studios, Patel spearheaded the movies business of ZEEL and was responsible for various aspects of the value chain namely, movie purchase/production as well as monetization, across all markets (Domestic & International).
An alumnus of NMIMS, he has a rich experience of almost 25 years and has worked across diverse sectors including Financial Services, Radio, Internet, Telecom, Sports Management and Film Production. As a leader in multiple management teams, he has brought core business tenets and processes in multiple large organisations.
Prior to joining Zee Patel was also associated with Trigno Media Pvt. Ltd. as Founder for a stint of over 7 years, Studio 18 as SVP for almost 2 years, Indian Cricket League, Zee Group as SVP, Radio MidDay as VP and Station Head, Bharti Airtel as Manager- Production Development and many more.
