Roopam Garg, Chief Executive Officer of dentsu X, has made the decision to move on after a nearly six-year-long stint with the company. According to industry sources, Garg submitted his resignation in May 2023 and is set to depart from the organisation around August.
Garg was promoted to the role of CEO in May 2021 from his previous position as Chief Operating Officer, which he held for nearly four years.
With over two decades of experience in communication and media, Garg has held senior leadership roles in five regions/markets including India, MENA, China, Vietnam, and London.
Prior to stint at Dentsu X, Garg has held senior leadership roles as Managing Director of Publicis Groupe Vietnam and COO of ZenithOptimedia Group India.
