Zone Media has elevated Mirtyunjay Kumar as its new Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer. He previously worked as President at the company.
Announcing the new position on his LinkedIn handle, Kumar shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer at Zone Media!”
Prior to Zone Media, Kumar worked for Publisher’s Internationalé as General Manager between 2021 and 2023. Before joining Publisher’s Internationalé, he served for 9X Media Pvt. Ltd as Region Head North from 2018 to 2020. Previous to this, Kumar associated with The Times of India as Business Head between 2014 and 2018. He also positioned as General Manager at Percept Ltd from 2012 to 2014 and worked for Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd as Deputy Chief Manager between 2005 and 2012.
Mrityunjay Kumar brings with him the decades of multi-functional experience. He has proven track record of working in diverse roles including P&L Management, Business Head, Account Management, marketing, media business and customer relations.
