Chennai: Amudhavalli Ranganathan, Director – New Initiatives & E-Commerce at CavinKare and Executive Director of CK Group of Educational Institutions, has been appointed Chairperson, UNESCO-CREGU India, and Chairperson (India), Sustainable Development Council, strengthening her role in advancing sustainability and development initiatives at the national and global levels.
As part of her new responsibilities, Ranganathan is representing the Sustainable Development Council at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, where she joins global leaders in discussions aimed at accelerating progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Her appointment comes as recognition of her contributions across business leadership, education and sustainability. At CavinKare, Ranganathan has been leading new business initiatives and the company’s e-commerce strategy, while also playing a key role in advancing educational initiatives through the CK Group of Educational Institutions.
