Vivek Srivastava has joined Viacom18 Media as EVP and Business Head at JioCinema Hindi Entertainment. This is his second stint at the company. He previously worked as Head of Growth & Business Management, Prime Video at Amazon.
Announcing the new position on his LinkedIn handle, Vivek shared, “Exactly 10 years later, I’m thrilled to return to the company that shaped my professional journey. Stepping into the role of EVP and Business Head – Jio Cinema Hindi Entertainment at Viacom18, joining a team that thrives on creativity, innovation, and a passion for delivering exceptional content.”
Prior to Amazon Prime Video, Vivek worked for Times Network as President of Digital & Broadcast between 2014 and 2022. Before this, he was with Viacom18 Media as Head of Digital and Commercial at COLORS from 2008 to 2014. Previous to this, he served for TAM Media Research as Director of S Group between 2004 and 2007. He started his career as Research Associate at IMRB International since 2001.
With an extensive experience, Vivek has expertise in P&L Management, Business Planning, Programming Strategy, Content Acquisition & Syndication, International Business, Distribution Strategy & planning, Audience Behavior Research, Digital marketing and Integrated Communication.
