Mumbai: In a strategic move aimed at strengthening its entertainment portfolio, JioStar has announced the appointment of Alok Jain as the Head of Cluster, Entertainment. Jain will oversee key channels within the cluster, including Colors, Digital Hindi, Niche, Movies, and Studio, playing a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s content strategy across platforms.
Under Jain’s leadership, the following senior executives will head key functions within the cluster:
- Vivek Srivastava – Hindi Specials for Streaming
- Arnab Das – Linear TV Business for Colors Rishtey
- Rohan Lavsi – Hindi Movies Business Across Platforms
- Anu Sikka – Kids & Infotainment Business Across Platforms
- Anushul Ailawadi – Youth, Music & English Business Across Platforms
- Ajit Andhare – Combined Studio Business
- Shital Iyer – Non-fiction Content Portfolio for the Cluster Across Platforms
- Prachi Sahay – Business Planning for the Cluster
With his extensive experience in content strategy, Alok Jain will be responsible for driving growth, innovation, and synergy across JioStar’s entertainment properties, ensuring a seamless connection with audiences across genres and platforms.
Alok Jain previously worked for Viacom18 as President. Prior to this, he was with Disney Star as EVP & Head – overseeing Disney Star’s Telugu, Bengali, Oriya & Kannada business (TV & Hotstar).
