New Delhi: Taboola, a global leader in delivering performance at scale for advertisers, has announced key developments aimed at accelerating its growth in India. The company unveiled a series of strategic moves including the launch of a new performance advertising platform, a major partnership with JioNews, and the appointment of Harpreet Singh as Country Manager for India.

In February 2025, Taboola launched Realize, a technology platform designed to help brands scale their performance advertising beyond the conventional realms of search and social media. Purpose-built to deliver measurable business outcomes, Realize marks Taboola’s strategic pivot towards a broader performance-led approach.

Bolstering its expansion in the Indian market, Taboola recently entered a two-year exclusive partnership with JioNews, one of India’s leading digital news aggregators. As part of the agreement, JioNews will integrate Taboola’s full suite of content recommendation technologies across its platform, enabling advertisers to reach high-intent audiences across categories such as business, entertainment, politics, and lifestyle.

To lead this next phase of growth, Taboola has appointed Harpreet Singh as its new Country Manager for India. Singh, who brings over 18 years of experience in the digital and publishing space, previously led publisher partnerships across India and Southeast Asia for the company. He was instrumental in expanding Taboola’s reach through successful collaborations with major Indian publishers including Times Internet, Network18, Jagran New Media, Hindustan Times, and Indian Express.

Singh’s appointment signals Taboola’s reinforced commitment to India and its evolution beyond native advertising. Under his leadership, the company aims to deepen its performance advertising offerings and become an even stronger ally to advertisers and publishers across the region.

“India is one of Taboola’s fastest-growing markets, and we’re excited to bring advanced performance capabilities to support our partners’ business goals,” said Harpreet Singh. “With Realize and our expanded partnerships, we’re well-positioned to deliver greater value and outcomes at scale.”
