FanCode teams up with LALIGA for exclusive football broadcasts across India

Mumbai: FanCode, a sports streaming destination, has entered into a five-year exclusive broadcast partnership with LALIGA, making it the official television and digital rights holder for LALIGA EA Sports and LALIGA Hypermotion in India starting from the 2025/26 season.

As part of the agreement, FanCode will also stream the remaining matches of the ongoing season, including this weekend’s high-stakes ELCLÁSICO clash between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona — a fixture that could determine the course of the title race.

With Real Madrid and Barcelona still neck-and-neck in the standings, and tight competition across the board for European qualification and relegation battles, the current season promises a dramatic finale.

From next season onwards, Indian fans will be able to watch all 380 top-tier LALIGA matches as well as key fixtures from LALIGA Hypermotion, live and on-demand on FanCode’s digital platforms — including its mobile app (Android & iOS), TV apps (Android TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Jio STB, Samsung TV, LG TV), and website (fancode.com). All matches will be streamed in HD quality, providing a premium experience for viewers.

LALIGA remains one of the most followed international football leagues in India, thanks to its iconic clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Valencia CF, and Sevilla FC, and its roster of global stars including Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Antoine Griezmann. Indian fan interest has also grown around clubs like Girona FC and Athletic Club Bilbao in recent seasons.

The partnership also marks the beginning of a comprehensive fan engagement strategy. FanCode and LALIGA will collaborate on marketing initiatives including community outreach, citywide match screenings, social media activations, and player visits to India, aiming to deepen emotional connect and attract newer, younger audiences.

FanCode currently reaches over 160 million sports fans in India and has secured marquee partnerships across sports properties such as the ICC, Formula 1, MotoGP, Carabao Cup, AFC, and more. The platform has seen over 50 million downloads on Android and iOS and continues to expand its footprint in India’s dynamic sports streaming ecosystem.
