Mumbai: Apollo Hospitals, one of Asia’s leading healthcare providers, has announced the appointment of Dr. Vineet Sikka as Vice President – Group Head, Growth & Strategic Alliances, with a strategic focus on Institutional Business.
Dr. Sikka brings with him over 17 years of rich experience across hospital operations, marketing, sales, and strategic growth. In his previous role as Country Head – Marketing & Growth at Narayana Health, he spearheaded key initiatives to drive revenue and market expansion. His prior leadership roles at MediBuddy and Credihealth, along with international experience managing health information systems at NHS Grampian, UK, underline his diverse expertise and global outlook.
A dental graduate from MD University, Rohtak, Dr. Sikka also holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Aberdeen Business School and a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration from Medvarsity and Apollo Hospitals. Additionally, he is certified in Strategy and Leadership from IIM Indore and holds credentials in Six Sigma and NABH Internal Auditing.
In his new role at Apollo Hospitals, Dr. Sikka will lead the Institutional Business segment and Strategic Alliances verticals. He will oversee corporate business development for the Group Revenue team, driving engagement with insurance firms, public sector undertakings, and private corporates. His responsibilities also include enhancing strategic alliances to strengthen the brand’s market presence and service portfolio.
Furthermore, Dr. Sikka will support sales outcomes across Apollo’s diversified verticals including Apollo ProHealth, Apollo Health & Lifestyle, and Apollo Home Care, ensuring synergy and growth across all business units.
He will report directly to Dr. Nandini Ali, Chief Marketing Officer, Apollo Hospitals.
