Zee TV Celebrates the Spirit of ‘Aapka Apna ZEE’ with the language of togetherness
Share Share ShareShare

Mumbai: Zee TV has stepped into an inspiring new chapter with the unveiling of its refreshed identity: ‘Aapka Apna ZEE’. With this heartfelt campaign, the channel deepens its bond with audiences, celebrating shared connections, a strong sense of community, and the everyday stories that mirror the lived realities of its viewers.

At the heart of the campaign is a simple yet stirring thought — “Saath aane se baat banti hai,” celebrating the strength of togetherness and the shared moments that create impact and compound goodness, propel us forward, and overcome obstacles. Every shared moment sparks hope, builds support, and fuels collective strength, reminding us that together, we can rise above challenges. The brand film is shaped by the textures, voices, and emotional truths of the community it represents. Featuring Zee TV characters and stories that reflect everyday realities, the film is a cinematic tribute to the deep sense of connection, making viewers across the nation feel truly seen, heard, and at home.

The story follows an army officer called away on duty just days before his daughter’s wedding. In his absence, the entire mohalla steps in like extended family to ensure the wedding continues in full spirit. When he returns on the wedding day and finds everything beautifully arranged, his wife gently smiles and says, “Itna bada parivaar hai, aaram se ho gaya.” He is left deeply moved, surrounded not just by his own family, but by a community that stood by him like one of their own.

Set in a vibrant North Indian mohalla in Faridabad, Zee TV’s film captures the rich sights and sounds of cultural tradition — the beat of the dholak, Genda Phool decor, the melodies of folk songs, the energy of the sangeet, the sweetness of Boondi Ladoos, and the joy that echoes through rooftops and courtyards. It’s an ode to the small joys that bind families and neighbours together.

The film’s ensemble cast also includes beloved Zee TV artists – Devansh and Vasudha (Vasudha), Ved and Saru (Saru), Neel and Riddhi (Jamai No.1) & Reet and Raghav (Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile) who embody the warmth and camaraderie of a close-knit community celebrating alongside the wedding family.

As part of this brand transformation, Zee TV becomes even more viewer-centric with a refreshed content lens. Recently launched, Saru tells the inspiring story of a village girl chasing her dreams in the city. Soon to follow is Tumm Se Tumm Tak, a progressive love story that proves age is no barrier to matters of the heart. Also in the pipeline is a rooted, homegrown non-fiction format that captures the spirit of India. Each show under the new identity is crafted not just to entertain, but to reflect and resonate with the lives of our viewers — making Zee TV truly Aapka Apna.

Speaking about the logo transformation and content lineup, Mangesh Kulkarni, Chief Channel Officer, Zee TV, said, “As we deepen our connection with viewers, our content palette grows richer, more diverse, and more reflective of contemporary India. ‘Aapka Apna ZEE’ reflects our dedication to genuine storytelling. We carefully created this brand film to authentically capture the Indian cultural fabric, ensuring every detail, from landscapes to rituals, it mirrors the lived experiences of our viewers. While the film draws inspiration from North Indian culture, the emotions and relationships it portrays are universally relatable. We are building a content ecosystem that’s rooted in cultural familiarity but speaks to today’s sensibilities. We want to reflect not just who our viewers are today, but who they’re becoming, navigating new family dynamics, career ambitions, and social transformations with resilience and hope.”

The campaign was unveiled with great impact during the telecast of the 23rd Zee Cine Awards 2025, where all seven versions of the brand film premiered simultaneously across ZEE’s channels and digital platforms, allowing viewers to experience one powerful idea through seven unique regional voices, all at once.

With ‘Aapka Apna ZEE’, the network emerges as a companion that reflects every home, every voice, and every lived emotion. A brand that belongs to its audience, because it speaks their language, shares their values, and grows with them.
