Chennai: Zee Tamil, one of the most beloved channels among Tamil audiences across the globe, has released a cute and engaging AI video on World Social Media Day. Leveraging its strong digital presence and deep connection with its social media community, the channel created this first-of-its-kind tribute to its popular shows — the Happy Social Media Day video — showcasing a creative and colourful celebration of the ever-evolving world of social media.

The video takes viewers on a joyful ride through a digital galaxy, bringing together Zee Tamil’s most iconic characters in a vibrant celebration. Fan favourites from fiction and non-fiction shows are seen dancing, trending, and lighting up the screen like a festival of joy. Blending high-quality animation, peppy music, and catchy lyrics, the film delivers both entertainment and nostalgia in equal measure.

Blending storytelling with technology, the video features AI-animated avatars of iconic characters from shows such as Anna, Karthigai Deepam, Sandhya Ragam, Valliyin Selvan, Ayali, Maari, Getti Melam, and popular non-fiction shows like Samayal Express, Dance Jodi Dance, and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

The campaign is being lauded for its innovation and creativity, with fans celebrating the unique execution and the joy of seeing their favourite characters reimagined in a whole new light. Since its release, the Happy Social Media Day video has quickly gone viral, generating thousands of views and widespread appreciation across platforms.

This digital-first initiative reflects Zee Tamil’s continued commitment to pushing boundaries in storytelling and audience engagement, while also honouring the growing power and influence of its online community.
