Mumbai: Umiya Buildcon Limited, a publicly listed dual-sector company, has announced two senior leadership appointments following its Board meeting held on September 1, 2025. Group Captain C.S. Krishnadas (Retd), formerly Chief Operating Officer, has been elevated to Chief Executive Officer, while Ms. Khushali Mehta, daughter of Chairman and Managing Director Aniruddha Bhanuprasad Mehta, has been appointed Vice President – Strategy.

Group Captain Krishnadas (Retd.) brings nearly three decades of experience across telecommunications, defence procurement, satellite communication, electronics manufacturing, and digital infrastructure. A veteran of the Indian Air Force, he is widely recognised for integrating military-grade systems engineering with business transformation.

As COO at Umiya Buildcon, he played a pivotal role in scaling operations, strengthening the technology backbone, and enhancing programme delivery. With expertise in IP/MPLS networks, tactical communication systems, and program management, he has a proven track record of leading P&L-focused business units and building future-ready technology platforms.

Group Captain C.S. Krishnadas (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, Umiya Buildcon Limited, said, “Umiya Buildcon is at a pivotal stage in its journey. The company has built a strong foundation across telecom and real estate, and the task ahead is to scale both verticals with discipline and efficiency. Focus will be on strengthening operations, deepening our technology capabilities in areas such as networking & infrastructure, and ensuring our platforms are future ready. By combining technical depth with execution strength, we aim to deliver sustainable value while contributing to National priorities such as Make in India and digital infrastructure development.”

Joining the leadership team as Vice President – Strategy, Khushali Mehta brings experience as a management consultant, having spent six years with Accenture in London. She has specialised in customer-centric strategies, digital adoption, and inclusive solutions, leading multi-stream agile projects and managing complex stakeholder programmes. Her contributions have been recognised with multiple awards, including the Accenture 360 Award for Outstanding Client Contribution.

Khushali Mehta, Vice President – Strategy, Umiya Buildcon Limited, said, “At Umiya Buildcon, my focus will be on strengthening customer engagement, advancing digital adoption, and ensuring that inclusivity and accessibility remain central to the way we grow. I am delighted to contribute to building a future-ready organisation with strong values and a clear vision for sustainable growth.”

Khushali holds a BSc in Economics and Business Management from the University of Warwick and is also a strong advocate of inclusion and diversity in the workplace.

These appointments significantly strengthen Umiya Buildcon’s leadership capacity and align with its dual-sector strategy. With operational depth and global consulting perspective at the leadership table, the company is well-positioned to scale its telecom and networking operations, expand its real estate portfolio, and deliver sustainable, capital-efficient value for stakeholders.
