CenturyPly’s latest campaign pays tribute to unseen heroes – single fathers

Mumbai: Century Plyboards (India) Ltd., a manufacturer of plywood and decorative solutions, has unveiled the latest chapter of its acclaimed CenturyHeroes series. Titled CenturyHeroes 2025, the campaign is a heartfelt tribute to single fathers who courageously step up as the ‘Asli Sainik’ in their children’s lives.

With the thought-provoking theme “Inner Strength: Invisible But Indispensable”, the film draws attention to the often-overlooked role of single fathers, urging society to recognise the unseen efforts of men who silently take on the responsibilities of both parents. In a world where motherhood is instinctively celebrated, the film shines a tender light on fatherhood that nurtures, protects, and builds—with as much care and intuition as a mother’s embrace. The message reflects the qualities of Sainik710 Ply and Sainik Laminates, products that stand for both strength and protection.

Building on the success of last year’s CenturyHeroes – Inclusivity is Priority, which went on to win several prestigious industry awards, this year’s campaign continues the brand’s tradition of honouring everyday heroes whose strength lies in love and resilience.

The film tells the story of a single father navigating a delicate milestone in his daughter’s life—her first period. With no mother to guide her, she feels lost. In response, the father uses his craft to build a cabinet from Sainik710 Ply, carefully stocking it with essentials and leaving behind a handwritten note of reassurance. In that moment, furniture becomes more than wood and nails—it transforms into a father’s voice, his protection, and his promise to always be there. The film, featuring Bhupesh Singh and Nandini Karmakar, was conceptualised by CenturyPly’s marketing team and directed by Visual Audio.

To amplify its impact, CenturyPly has rolled out a pan-India 360° campaign across out-of-home (OOH), social media, and digital platforms. Through CenturyHeroes 2025, the company reinforces its position as a thought leader, using storytelling to drive conversations on empathy, resilience, and inclusivity.

With this tribute to single fathers, CenturyPly salutes the men who become their children’s safe space, their quiet strength, and their true Asli Sainik.
