Mumbai: MagickHome, a global interiors brand, has announced the first winners of its transformative Pride Month initiative, “Make Room for Pride”, reaffirming its commitment to building a more diverse, equal, and inclusive world through design.
The first winners of the campaign are Mayank and Sougata, a Bengaluru-based LGBTQIA+ couple from a multigenerational family. Having recently moved into their dream home, the couple envisioned a space that reflects the warmth and connection of their family while catering to each member’s unique needs.
“The team at MagickHome understood our needs, routines, and what makes our multigenerational family tick. The makeover feels practical, comfortable, and genuinely reflective of who we are,” said Mayank.
Through Make Room for Pride, MagickHome is going beyond symbolic gestures to create real and lasting social impact. The nationwide campaign was designed not only to deliver beautifully crafted interiors but also to foster inclusivity by offering free home makeovers worth ₹5 lakhs each to one LGBTQIA+ couple and one individual.

“The ‘Make Room for Pride’ campaign was never aimed at just being a design project. It was about making space for identity, love, and pride — at the heart of what this campaign stands for,” said Jayesh Sali, Head of Marketing, MagickHome India.
The brand approached the project as a collaboration rooted in empathy and respect, beginning with detailed consultations to understand the family’s lifestyle, routines, and idea of “home.” The final design transformation achieved a balance of elegance and emotion, featuring soft, muted tones, layered textures, and ambient lighting — creating a warm sanctuary for shared connection and reflection.
By placing the couple’s story at the heart of the design, MagickHome not only crafted a beautiful home but also helped redefine what belonging means for LGBTQIA+ families across India.
Launched during Pride Month in June 2025, the Make Room for Pride campaign invited entries from LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples who have struggled to feel at home in their own spaces. Through this initiative, MagickHome aims to continue designing homes that empower people to live authentically — creating spaces where everyone feels they truly belong.
