Amazon Ads brings its Generative AI video tool to Indian advertisers

Bengaluru: Amazon Ads today announced the international expansion of its AI-powered Video Generator, now available to advertisers in India, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The easy-to-use creative tool enables businesses of all sizes to create high-quality video ads within minutes—without requiring video production expertise or additional budget.

With Video Generator, advertisers can upload product images, existing product videos, or even a product detail page from Amazon.com, click “generate,” and receive six realistic, high-motion videos that bring products to life—all at no additional cost.

Leveraging existing product pages and Amazon audience insights, the tool crafts multi-scene videos with smooth transitions, background music, and intelligent summarization capabilities that extract key clips from existing videos to optimize ad formats. This allows advertisers to create professional-quality, dynamic videos that highlight their products in realistic settings.

  • Intelligent video summarization: Upload existing videos from social media, demos, or tutorials, and let AI identify and extract key clips for optimized ad content.
  • Brand customization: Incorporate logos and adjust headlines for brand consistency with flexible editing tools.
  • One-click transformation: Instantly turn static product photos into dynamic multi-scene video ads that help customers understand product benefits.

Proven Success and Accessibility

Since its launch in the U.S. earlier this year, brands using Video Generator have seen significant success. Tens of thousands of campaigns have been created using the tool, with the number of submissions growing more than four times in Q3 2025 compared to Q2 2025. Notably, over 60% of products promoted using Video Generator had never been advertised before through Sponsored Brand Video, showcasing its impact in attracting new advertisers to video advertising.
