Mumbai: ZEE5 has announced its latest Telugu original series, Nayanam, which is set to premiere on 19th December. Directed by Swathi Prakash, Nayanam is positioned as an intense psychological thriller that explores the fragile boundaries between truth, delusion, and obsession.
The announcement marks actor Varun Sandesh’s much-anticipated foray into the OTT space. The six-episode series features him as Dr. Nayan—a character that significantly diverges from his previous portrayals, placing him in a darker and more psychologically layered narrative world.
Sharing his excitement about the poster launch and his OTT debut, Varun Sandesh said, “This is a completely new chapter for me. The character of Dr. Nayan challenged me in ways I’ve never experienced before, and the poster reflects just a glimpse of that intensity. OTT gives us the freedom to explore characters in more depth, and I’m thrilled to begin this journey with Telugu ZEE5.”
