New Delhi: VETO, India’s subscription-free OTT platform focused on delivering a unified large-screen entertainment experience for families, has expanded its live television offering by adding 28 new channels, taking its total live channel count to over 55. The latest expansion strengthens the platform’s regional content portfolio across 12 Indian languages, reinforcing its strategy to serve diverse audiences through language-first programming.
The newly added channels span news, movies, music, entertainment, infotainment, children’s programming and devotional content, enabling VETO to cater to viewers in Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Bangla, Bhojpuri and Haryanvi.
With the latest additions, the platform is deepening its focus on regional markets beyond metro cities, where local news and entertainment continue to drive television consumption. VETO said the expansion aligns with its vision of creating a family-first connected TV experience that combines shared viewing with personalized language preferences.
The new lineup includes premium music brand YRF Music, five channels from Epic Network and 19 regional channels, significantly expanding VETO’s news, movie, music, kids, infotainment and devotional offerings. Among the key additions are regional news channels including Kolkata TV, R Plus, Gujarat First, Sandesh News, Sakshi TV, Mahaa News, ABN Andhrajyothi and News Tamil, alongside entertainment channels such as NRK TV for Kannada cinema, Punjabi Hits and Tabbar Hits for Punjabi content, and Mahaa Maxx for Telugu entertainment.
The expansion also strengthens VETO’s presence in southern and eastern India while broadening its entertainment portfolio across western and northern markets.
The platform already features a range of popular live channels, including India TV, NDTV India, NDTV Marathi, Manorama News, B4U Movies, B4U Music, Sanskar, Total Bhakti, Shubh, Satsang and the 9XM music network.
Beyond live television, VETO continues to build its video-on-demand library, offering more than 500 hours of children’s programming, including animation, mythology-based stories and original series. Its content portfolio also includes sports analysis featuring former cricketers R. Ashwin, Wasim Jaffer and S. Badrinath, along with exclusive interviews, podcasts, documentaries, AI-led storytelling, lifestyle programming, devotional content, astrology updates, wellness-focused shows and motorsports coverage.
