Mumbai: PNB Housing Finance has announced the appointment of Mukesh Agarwal as its Chief Sales Officer – Retail, further strengthening its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on expanding its retail housing finance business.
In his new role, Agarwal will be responsible for leading the company’s retail sales strategy and strengthening distribution across key markets. His appointment has been made in line with PNB Housing Finance’s established leadership and governance processes. With this elevation, the company aims to reinforce its retail franchise and deepen market penetration amid sustained demand in the housing finance segment.
A seasoned finance professional, Mukesh Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI 2003) with over 21 years of experience spanning credit, underwriting, policy formulation, and sales leadership across leading financial institutions. He has been associated with PNB Housing Finance for more than 13 years, during which he has progressed through multiple leadership roles, including Senior Manager – Underwriting, National Head – Credit & Policy (Affordable Business), National Credit Manager – Prime, Zonal Credit Manager, and Regional Credit Manager.
Across these roles, Agarwal has played a key role in strengthening credit operations, building robust policy frameworks, and supporting the company’s growth across retail housing finance segments. Prior to joining PNB Housing Finance, he worked with Standard Chartered Bank, ICICI Bank, and IndusInd Bank, where he gained extensive experience in credit initiation, regional credit management, and audit.
With his deep understanding of credit risk, underwriting, and distribution-led growth, Agarwal’s appointment is expected to support PNB Housing Finance’s continued focus on scaling its retail business while maintaining strong risk discipline and operational excellence.
