Mumbai: Sony Sports Network, part of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), is set to bring live and exclusive coverage of the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026, offering fans a front-row seat to the next generation of Asian women’s cricketing talent. The tournament is scheduled to take place from 13 to 22 February.
In a first for the tournament, all India matches — including the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash on 15 February — along with the semi-finals and the final, will be broadcast in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The multi-language presentation aims to widen access and engagement for cricket fans across the country.
The Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 will feature some of the most promising emerging players from across Asia. Fans can look forward to watching Radha Yadav (Captain, India A), Esha Oza (Captain, UAE), Anushka Sanjeewani (Captain, Sri Lanka A), Fahima Khatun (Captain, Bangladesh A), Natthakan Chantham (Thailand), and Rubina Chettri (Nepal) showcase their talent on the international stage.
Leading the Indian side, Radha Yadav brings significant experience, having been a consistent performer in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Her leadership and all-round skills are expected to play a crucial role as India fields a young and dynamic squad for the tournament.
Among the key highlights for the home side is the debut of Anushka Sharma at the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026. The batting all-rounder has impressed in domestic cricket and recent WPL outings, earning her maiden national call-up and marking an important milestone in her career.
The squad is further strengthened by the presence of Humairaa Kaazi, whose experience in domestic cricket adds stability to the middle order along with valuable contributions with the ball. Vrinda Dinesh is set to reinforce the batting unit with her consistent domestic performances, while Minnu Mani, an emerging all-rounder, is regarded as a key T20 asset due to her ability to contribute effectively with both bat and ball.
