Gurugram: PeakAmp, a battery circularity company, has strengthened its leadership team with the elevation of Aditya Prakash to Co-Founder and the appointment of Akhil Yerawar as Co-Founder, as it scales its mission to build India’s most trusted end-of-life battery management platform.
Founded in 2024 by Vijay Gond and Aditya Sudhanshu, PeakAmp is developing India’s first full-stack, tech-enabled solution focused on the collection, segregation, and recycling of lithium-ion batteries. Its platform also includes second-life repurposing and high-purity material recovery, aimed at enabling a circular economy for batteries through strategic partnerships and advanced technology.
Akhil Yerawar, an IIM Raipur Gold Medalist with over a decade of experience across green energy, management consulting, banking, and consumer sectors, joins as Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer. He will lead strategic growth initiatives, investor engagement, government and regulatory partnerships, and the commercial roadmap for second-life battery applications.
Aditya Prakash, who has been closely involved in PeakAmp’s journey, brings more than three years of experience in battery recycling operations, circular supply chains, and sustainability initiatives. His background includes logistics execution, ecosystem partnerships, and data-driven process optimisation within the lithium-ion value chain. In his new role, Aditya will lead overall strategy, operations, and execution, focusing on scaling supply-chain networks, strengthening partnerships, and driving operational excellence across the battery lifecycle.

Commenting on his elevation, Aditya Prakash, Co-Founder, PeakAmp, said, “I’m excited to take on the role at a pivotal moment for both PeakAmp and India’s EV ecosystem. As electric mobility scales, building reliable, compliant, and technology-driven battery after-life solutions becomes critical. I look forward to leading the team in strengthening our operational foundations and scaling systems that ensure every end-of-life battery is responsibly channelled back into productive use.”
Akhil Yerawar, Co-Founder, PeakAmp, added, “Joining PeakAmp as a Co-Founder is an exciting opportunity to help build a company that is addressing one of the most important challenges in India’s clean energy transition. By combining strong execution with compliant and commercially viable circular solutions, we aim to scale in step with the country’s EV growth.”
India’s electric vehicle market is expected to expand rapidly over the coming decade, leading to a significant increase in end-of-life batteries. Industry estimates point to a widening gap between existing recycling capacity and future demand. PeakAmp aims to address this gap through its integrated model combining safe collection, diagnostics-led second-life deployment, and 99%+ purity material recovery.
With its expanded founding team, PeakAmp plans to accelerate partnerships with OEMs, mobility operators, and battery manufacturers, while enhancing its technology stack for traceability, compliance, and efficient resource recovery.
