Mumbai: Knya, a lifestyle and medical apparel brand, has appointed Chintan Adeshara as Head of Retail, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its offline expansion across India. Adeshara has been tasked with scaling the brand’s retail footprint to over 100 stores in the next three years, marking the next phase of Knya’s growth strategy.
The brand, which currently operates more than 20 retail outlets, plans to launch two new stores every month this year, highlighting its aggressive expansion plans and focus on building a strong national retail presence.
Adeshara brings over 19 years of experience in large-scale retail operations, with expertise in multi-state business management, store operations and regional expansion. He has managed annual business portfolios exceeding ₹320 crore and led teams of more than 1,300 employees across functions and hierarchies, while maintaining a strong focus on profitability, operational processes and execution.
Prior to joining Knya, Adeshara played a key role in the growth journeys of retail brands such as Zudio and Lenskart, where he contributed to setting up, operating and scaling businesses from the ground up. His experience includes expansion planning, process standardisation, shrinkage control initiatives and driving sustained double-digit growth across regions.
