Gurugram: Delhivery has announced the appointment of Neelam Dhawan as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective March 20, 2026. She will assume the role of Chairperson of the Board from April 1, 2026, succeeding Deepak Kapoor, who is stepping down after more than eight years on the board.

Dhawan brings over three decades of leadership experience in the technology sector, having held senior roles including Managing Director positions at HP India Sales, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise India, and Microsoft India. She is known for driving large-scale IT transformations across industries such as banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, and government.
An Economics graduate from St. Stephen’s College and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Dhawan has been consistently recognised among the most powerful women in business by leading publications. She has also contributed to industry policy and strategy through her tenure on the NASSCOM Executive Council from 2009 to 2017.
Currently, she serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several major companies, including Hindustan Unilever, Tech Mahindra, Ather Energy, Fractal Analytics, Capillary Technologies, and Capita PLC, along with her role at the Nudge Lifeskills Foundation.
