Mumbai: Sterlite Electric has announced the appointment of Frederic Andre M Trefois as its Group Chief Executive Officer, marking a key leadership transition as the company looks to scale its global operations.
Trefois, who previously served as a Non-Executive Independent Director on the company’s board, brings extensive experience in managing and overseeing global businesses. In his new role, he will lead Sterlite Electric’s strategic growth initiatives and strengthen its position in the evolving power transmission and infrastructure landscape.
Commenting on the appointment, Pratik Agarwal, Managing Director, Sterlite Electric, said, “Frederic brings global perspective, disciplined execution, and deep sector insight at a time when grids worldwide must evolve to meet complexity and scale. Prior to this role, Trefois was associated with Sécheron Hasler Group and SNC-Lavalin Inc.. An engineer by training, he holds degrees in civil engineering.
