Mumbai: Priority Pass, owned and operated by Collinson International, has expanded its partnership with Chennai Bulls, reinforcing its commitment to supporting emerging rugby talent in India. As part of the extended collaboration, Priority Pass will serve as the Official Airport Lounge Partner for the Chennai Bulls Selects team during their participation in the Hong Kong Football Club 10s.
The Chennai Bulls Selects team is a key component of the franchise’s long-term talent development programme, designed to provide aspiring Indian and international players with opportunities to compete at high-level global tournaments. The initiative aims to expand access to rugby and create structured pathways for young athletes to gain international exposure.
Through the expanded partnership, Priority Pass will offer dedicated airport lounge access and curated travel experiences in Hong Kong, enabling players to rest, recover, and perform at their best during the tournament.
Building on a collaboration that began in 2025, the partnership reflects a shared vision of nurturing talent and strengthening the rugby ecosystem in India, while also prioritising athlete wellbeing during international travel.
Commenting on the development, Todd Handcock, Global Chief Commercial Officer and Asia Pacific Executive Chair at Collinson International, said, “As rugby continues to establish itself as a premier sport in India, we are proud to support the Chennai Bulls in their wider ambition to create more avenues for progression for young players across the country, helping to open doors for emerging and aspiring talent who may otherwise not have direct access and opportunities to develop in the sport. We are delighted to expand our partnership to provide the Chennai Bulls Selects team with access to Priority Pass airport lounges and travel experiences in Hong Kong as they participate in the HKFC10s, helping them rest better, arrive refreshed and perform at their best. We look forward to deepening our partnership with Chennai Bulls and continuing our support as they build a stronger and more inclusive rugby ecosystem in India.”
Ben Gollings, head coach of Chennai Bulls and a world record-breaking rugby sevens captain, added, “Bringing the Chennai Bulls Selects team to compete in Hong Kong is a proud moment for everyone involved in the franchise. These tournaments represent an important platform for our players to test themselves against top international talent. The continued support from Priority Pass will enhance the travel experience for our teams, giving players a place to relax and recharge so they are ready to deliver their best performance. It also strengthens our ambition to build winning teams and create meaningful opportunities for younger generation in India to grow through sport.”
Priority Pass continues to expand its footprint in global sports partnerships, supporting athletes with seamless travel experiences. Its collaborations include associations with organisations such as the Professional Tennis Players Association and the Women’s National Basketball Players Association, as well as partnerships with emerging sports talent across regions.
With this expanded collaboration, Priority Pass and Chennai Bulls aim to further elevate India’s presence in international rugby while creating meaningful growth opportunities for the next generation of athletes.
