Moradabad: Fever FM has officially launched its station on 93.7 FM in Moradabad, marking a significant milestone as the city’s first-ever private FM radio station goes live. The launch strengthens the network’s footprint in Uttar Pradesh, with Moradabad becoming its eighth city in the state.
With this expansion, Fever FM continues to deepen its regional presence, having already established operations in cities such as Lucknow, Kanpur, Bareilly, Agra, Aligarh, Gorakhpur and Prayagraj.
Welcoming the development, Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, Divisional Commissioner, highlighted the significance of the launch for the region. “Until now, the people of Moradabad had no FM service of their own. With Fever 93.7, they will get not just entertainment but a new medium for awareness and information. The districts around us — Rampur, Sambhal, Bijnor and Amroha — each have their own distinct identity and rich history. Fever 93.7 will give people a platform to know and celebrate their region better,” he said.
Vinod Agarwal, Mayor of Moradabad, described the launch as a proud moment for the city. “Moradabad is a major export hub, but when it came to FM radio, we were always left behind. On the way to Delhi, it was only after reaching Ghaziabad that we could pick up FM signals — Moradabad never had that. Today, that gap is finally filled. I congratulate the entire Fever FM team and the people of Moradabad on this new station,” he said.
Satpal Antil, Senior Superintendent of Police, also extended his support, stating, “I hope this radio station will serve not just as an entertainment platform but as a strong medium for public awareness. Sensitising people on important social issues is a significant responsibility for any radio station. I am confident that Fever FM 93.7 will rise to that responsibility,” he said.
Commenting on the launch, Ramesh Menon, CEO of Fever Network, said, “Cities like Moradabad are where you find real stories and real connections. Through Fever 93.7 FM, we want to build a platform that brings the city’s voice forward, connects its people, and makes every day a little more happening.”
The newly launched station will broadcast from 6 AM to midnight, offering a diverse mix of content tailored for listeners across age groups. Programming will feature popular voices including RJ Vaibhav, Amit Kumar, RJ Pankhuri, and RJ Rahul Makin, covering a blend of local conversations, entertainment, and Bollywood music.
With this launch, Fever FM aims to create a vibrant local platform that not only entertains but also strengthens community engagement and regional storytelling across Moradabad and its neighbouring districts.
