Firoz Khan joins Sunday Hotels as Director and Channel Head – Business Development, India

Mumbai: Sunday Hotels, a global hospitality brand under Prism backed by SoftBank, has announced the appointment of Firoz Khan as Director and Channel Head – Business Development, strengthening its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on strategic expansion and partnership-led growth in India.

In his new role, Firoz will lead business development and channel strategy, focusing on identifying high-potential markets, strengthening partner ecosystems, and building a scalable growth framework across the brand’s portfolio.

Firoz brings more than 16 years of experience spanning market entry strategy, brand positioning, mall zoning and tenant mix strategy, brand operations, and long-term business sustainability. Over the years, he has built extensive relationships with developers, retailers, and institutional stakeholders across the country, enabling successful expansion and deal-making across diverse real estate markets.

Prior to joining Sunday Hotels, Firoz served as Vice President and Head – North India Business at PPZ, where he led the North India portfolio, driving regional growth, developer partnerships, and asset acquisition while working closely with leadership on business planning and operational performance. His responsibilities also included marketing, leasing, operations, budgeting, and SOH management.

Earlier, he worked as Associate Director at Colliers International, where he partnered with retailers, developers, and startup brands to support expansion planning and business development strategies across Tier I, II, and III cities. During his tenure, he also worked closely with key clients including Walmart, Metro Cash & Carry, and PVR INOX, contributing to retail expansion across emerging markets. He has also held leadership roles at Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, and JLL.

Over the course of his career, Firoz has developed a deep understanding of the evolving retail and real estate ecosystem across India’s urban and emerging markets.
