Mumbai: P. N. Gadgil & Sons (PNGS), one of India’s most trusted jewellery brands with a legacy spanning over 192 years, has announced celebrated actor Sonali Bendre as its new Brand Ambassador.
The flagship campaign, launched on May 8, 2026, features Sonali Bendre as the face of PNGS’s core brand identity, spotlighting the Mangalsutra, traditional jewellery collections, and the brand’s enduring positioning of jewellery as an heirloom rather than mere adornment.
The collaboration brings together two enduring legacies rooted in authenticity, grace, and cultural heritage. Widely admired for her cinematic journey, resilience, and personal strength, Sonali Bendre is seen as a natural fit for PNGS, a brand that has been part of Indian families’ milestone moments for generations.
According to the company, the campaign seeks to celebrate the emotional and cultural significance of jewellery in Indian households while appealing to a new generation of women who are both rooted in tradition and aspirational in outlook. The Mangalsutra featured in the campaign is positioned not simply as jewellery, but as a reflection of identity, heritage, and emotional connection.
Founded in 1832 in Sangli, Maharashtra, PNGS has evolved from a family-run workshop into a pan-India jewellery retail brand known for hallmarked gold, BIS-certified craftsmanship, and traditional designs. Over the decades, the brand has built its identity around jewellery crafted for life’s significant occasions, including weddings, anniversaries, and family celebrations.

Aditya Modak, CFO and COO, P N Gadgil and Sons, said, “At PNGS, every piece of jewellery we create carries the weight of trust — trust built over 192+ years with millions of Indian families. Welcoming Sonali Bendre as our Brand Ambassador is a natural extension of that promise. She embodies the grace, strength, and cultural pride that define the women who wear our jewellery. This partnership is not just a campaign — it is a conversation we are beginning with a new generation of PNGS women, and we could not have found a more authentic voice to lead it.”
Sonali Bendre added, “Jewellery, for Indian women, has never just been about adornment — it is about identity, memory, and love passed down through generations. P N Gadgil and Sons understands this at a cellular level, and that is what drew me to this partnership. Wearing PNGS jewellery is not a role I am playing — it is a reflection of who I am and what I believe in. I am honoured to be the face of a brand that has been woven into the fabric of so many Indian families’ stories over centuries.”
