New Delhi: Moglix, a B2B industrial commerce and deep tech platform, has appointed Amit Kumar as Managing Director and Chief Business Officer.
Based in Ahmedabad, Kumar joins Moglix’s central leadership team and will lead the development and expansion of the company’s emerging business segments and new strategic opportunity areas.
Kumar brings more than two decades of experience across business leadership, enterprise transformation, and management consulting. Prior to joining Moglix, he served as Group CEO and Executive Director at Symphony Limited, where he led the company’s overall P&L growth, digital transformation initiatives, and supply chain restructuring over nearly five years.
Before Symphony, he held senior leadership and advisory roles at KPMG India, EY and PwC, working across sectors including automotive, consumer durables, FMCG, steel, chemicals, and industrial manufacturing. He began his career with GE Aircraft Engines in its new product development team and later co-founded a data analytics company focused on enterprise business modelling and advanced analytics solutions.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kumar is expected to play a key role in Moglix’s next phase of industrial and technology-led expansion.

Rahul Garg, Founder and CEO of Moglix & Credlix, said, “India’s industrial transformation is not a forecast anymore. It is happening, on the ground, in factories and supply chains and boardrooms, right now. Moglix is building the infrastructure this new industrial India runs on. That is not just a company ambition. It is, in a real sense, a contribution to how Bharat competes and grows over the next decade. Amit has built and scaled businesses in exactly the conditions and sectors that define this moment. His joining reflects our conviction about what this company is becoming.”
The company said Kumar joins its leadership team at a time when Moglix is significantly expanding its role within India’s industrial ecosystem beyond procurement and supply chain commerce.
Commenting on his appointment, Amit Kumar said, “Bharat is at a point where the industrial foundations being laid today will shape the economy for the next decade and beyond. Being part of Moglix at this stage, contributing to building a disruptor of global scale from India, is an opportunity that does not come often. That is what brought me here.”
Founded as a B2B procurement marketplace, Moglix has evolved into a broader industrial operating infrastructure platform supporting India’s manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem.
The company’s supplier network currently spans over 45,000 vendors. Its trade finance platform, Credlix, enables working capital access across export corridors, while its AI-powered supply intelligence platform, Cognilix, delivers enterprise procurement analytics and decision-support capabilities at scale.
Moglix said these businesses collectively represent its expanding role in supporting India’s manufacturing growth and global supply chain realignment.
