Mumbai: Niva Bupa Health Insurance has announced the elevation of Anand Kumar Nandagopal as Executive Vice President & Head – Business Development & Strategic Alliances, reinforcing the company’s focus on strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding its distribution ecosystem.
In his new role, Anand will lead business development initiatives across the organization, with a focus on driving growth through strategic alliances, bancassurance partnerships, corporate agency relationships, and emerging distribution channels. With over two decades of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, Anand has been instrumental in building and strengthening Niva Bupa’s strategic partnerships and distribution network. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to expanding the company’s reach, deepening partner engagement, and driving sustainable business growth.
Prior to joining Niva Bupa, Anand held senior leadership roles across several leading insurance and financial services organizations, including Aviva Life Insurance, Tata AIG, and ING Life Insurance, as well as in the banking sector. His expertise spans business development, bancassurance, partnership distribution, channel management, and strategic relationship building.
