Chennai: Instamart, India’s pioneering quick commerce platform, has appointed Nandita Sinha as its Chief Executive Officer, effective August 03. She succeeds Amitesh Jha, who led the platform through a significant phase of growth and expansion.
Announcing the appointment, Sriharsha Majety, Managing Director & Group CEO, Swiggy, said, “I am delighted to welcome Nandita Sinha as the CEO of Instamart. Sinha joins Instamart after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Myntra, where she led the fashion e-commerce platform to become India’s largest player in the segment, while continuing to gain market share in a highly competitive market after achieving EBITDA profitability in 2024.
A consumer internet veteran with more than two decades of experience, Sinha has held leadership positions across leading companies including Flipkart, Britannia and Hindustan Unilever. Her expertise spans fashion, e-commerce and FMCG, with a strong track record in building and scaling consumer businesses.
As CEO, Sinha will spearhead Instamart’s next phase of growth, focusing on strengthening its differentiated assortment strategy, accelerating business momentum, improving profitability metrics, enhancing customer experience and driving operational excellence.
