Mumbai: Jaffna Kings, the reigning champions of the Lanka Premier League (LPL), have announced the appointment of Ravinder Kumar Nandal as the Chief Executive Officer of the franchise, reinforcing their leadership structure ahead of the upcoming season.
Recognized as the most successful franchise in the history of the Lanka Premier League, Jaffna Kings have won four titles in five seasons, establishing a dominant presence in the competition. Entering the new season as defending champions, the franchise is looking to further strengthen its cricketing and commercial ambitions through this strategic leadership appointment.
Owned by Mayank Goel and Manjot Kalra, Jaffna Kings have built a reputation for excellence, professionalism, and sustained success in international T20 cricket. The franchise is backed by IPG owner Anil Mohan, guided by head coach Thilina Kandamby, and features Sri Lankan star Bhanuka Rajapaksa as its icon player.
As CEO, Nandal will be responsible for driving the franchise’s business growth, expanding its commercial footprint, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and supporting its long-term vision of becoming a globally recognized cricket brand.

Co-owner Manjot Kalra brings a strong cricketing pedigree to the franchise. A former ICC Under-19 World Cup-winning player, Kalra represented Delhi in domestic cricket and was also associated with IPL franchise Delhi Capitals.
