Bengaluru: AI-powered fleet safety and mobility intelligence platform Cautio has announced the appointment of Nitin Chadha as Senior Vice President – Growth & Strategy, as the company looks to accelerate the adoption of AI-led safety and operational intelligence solutions across India’s commercial mobility sector.
In his new role, Chadha will lead growth initiatives, strategic partnerships and enterprise expansion, helping strengthen Cautio’s position in the rapidly evolving fleet safety and mobility technology landscape.
Chadha joins the company with over 21 years of experience spanning mobility, consumer technology, automotive, insurance and startups. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions at Acko, Spinny and Park+, and founded sRide, one of India’s early shared mobility platforms. His expertise covers business growth, strategy, partnerships, operations and go-to-market execution.
The appointment comes at a time when fleet operators are increasingly embracing AI-powered technologies to enhance safety, improve operational efficiency and strengthen driver accountability. Growing regulatory focus on road safety, driver monitoring and advanced safety systems is further driving demand for predictive and intelligence-led fleet management solutions.
The trend is also reflected in public infrastructure initiatives. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) recently announced plans to deploy AI-powered dashcam analytics across nearly 40,000 kilometres of national highways to improve road monitoring, maintenance and safety.

Commenting on the appointment, Ankit Acharya, Co-Founder and CEO of Cautio, said, “Nitin brings a rare combination of operating depth, mobility-sector understanding and growth leadership. His experience gives him a strong perspective on how large mobility ecosystems function and scale. As Cautio enters its next phase of growth, his leadership will be instrumental in expanding our partnerships, strengthening our revenue engine and bringing our fleet safety platform to more operators across India.”
Founded with the mission of making commercial mobility safer and more accountable, Cautio leverages artificial intelligence to help fleet operators identify risks, improve driver behaviour and optimise operational performance.
Over the last 15 months, the company has witnessed rapid growth, with its platform currently safeguarding more than 15,000 vehicles daily across over 130 cities. Cautio says it has processed more than 150 million safe kilometres and generated over 60 million AI-triggered alerts related to driving behaviour and operational risks.
The company also claims to have intervened in more than 3,000 safety incidents, helping avert over 2,400 potential accidents, identify cases of impaired driving, prevent fraudulent claims and address incidents ranging from theft and robbery to unauthorised vehicle usage.
Its customer portfolio includes RedBus, Zingbus, Euro Cars, Cityflo, Infants, Shoffr, The Indian Army and G4S, positioning the company as a key technology partner for commercial mobility operators.
Speaking on his new role, Chadha said, “Mobility in India is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Operators today want technology partners that can help them improve safety, accountability and operational efficiency at scale. What drew me to Cautio is its long-term vision of building safety infrastructure, not simply selling technology products. The company has built a strong foundation, and I’m excited to help accelerate growth, deepen partnerships and bring these solutions to more fleets across the country.”
