Bengaluru: Reflecting the changing aspirations of India’s student community, a new campaign featuring actor Pratik Gandhi explores the growing shift toward earning while learning — a trend increasingly driven not just by financial needs, but by the desire for independence, confidence and self-reliance.

At the heart of the campaign is a relatable insight into student life: as aspirations evolve and responsibilities grow, many young people begin seeking greater financial independence and the confidence that comes with earning for themselves. Moving beyond the traditional idea of pocket money, the campaign captures how students today are increasingly viewing early work experiences as a pathway to ownership, responsibility and personal growth.

The campaign has already generated over 1.8 million impressions across Meta platforms, reflecting strong resonance with young audiences and growing conversations around student ambitions, financial independence and changing attitudes toward work during college years.

In the campaign film, Pratik Gandhi takes on the role of an elder-brother figure, guiding a younger college-going sibling toward discovering opportunities to take up gigs and become more self-reliant. Through an authentic and relatable family interaction, the film presents earning as more than a source of income — positioning it as a means to build confidence, responsibility and the ability to make independent choices.

The narrative draws additional authenticity from Pratik Gandhi’s own early career journey, having taken up gigs during his initial years in Mumbai, giving him a personal understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with building independence from the ground up.

By anchoring itself in lived experiences and evolving student aspirations, the campaign opens up broader conversations around employability, self-development and India’s emerging earn-while-you-learn culture.

Positioned as a reflection of contemporary youth ambition, the campaign highlights how young Indians are increasingly choosing to earn early, learn continuously and build confidence much earlier in life.
