Mumbai: Ipsos has announced a series of strategic leadership appointments across its global organisation as it accelerates execution of its Horizons strategic plan and advances transformation initiatives centred on speed, innovation and artificial intelligence.
The appointments are designed to support Ipsos’ next phase of growth while reinforcing operational agility and strengthening market alignment across regions.
As part of the leadership changes, Alexandre Guerin has been appointed Managing Director – Performance, joining the Executive Management Committee and reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Jean Laurent Poitou.
In his new role, Guerin will lead Ipsos’ efforts to achieve one of Horizons’ core ambitions—delivering most studies in under 48 hours—while driving new ways of working internally and enhancing client collaboration models.
Guerin brings significant leadership experience across both operations and client management. His previous roles include Chief Client Officer in the United States and CFO of Operations. Most recently, he served as Country Manager of Ipsos in France, where he led the successful integration of BVA in 2025.
Succeeding him in France, Laurent Depouilly has been appointed Country Manager of Ipsos bva in France, reporting to Shane Farrell, CEO EMEA.
The move also marks a structural alignment, with France now integrated into Ipsos’ EMEA region.
In his new mandate, Depouilly will focus on strengthening Ipsos bva’s market positioning and accelerating commercial growth.
Since joining Ipsos in 2010, Depouilly has held multiple leadership positions across France before taking over as Country Manager in Switzerland, where he led international teams and delivered sustained improvements in profitability and business performance.
Ipsos has also elevated Marion-Anne Cattaneo to Country Manager of Ipsos in Switzerland, reporting to Shane Farrell, CEO EMEA.
She will oversee business operations in the Swiss market with a focus on strengthening support for international clients while expanding opportunities with Swiss-headquartered businesses.
Cattaneo joined Ipsos in 2015 and has built a cross-market career spanning France and Switzerland. She currently leads several strategic business units including Innovation and Market Strategy & Understanding and is expected to play a key role in expanding Ipsos’ local presence and deepening client relationships.

Jean Laurent Poitou
