Mumbai: Digital-first news platform Mumbai Tak hosted the fourth edition of its flagship intellectual property, Mumbai Tak Baithak, in Mumbai, reinforcing its position as a leading forum for discussions on Maharashtra’s governance, policy and socio-political landscape.
Over the years, Mumbai Tak Baithak has evolved into the platform’s marquee event, bringing together some of Maharashtra’s most influential political leaders, policymakers, journalists and cultural personalities to deliberate on issues shaping the state’s future.
This year’s edition featured an eminent line-up of political leaders and distinguished personalities, including Devendra Fadnavis, Aaditya Thackeray, Chhagan Bhujbal, Satej Patil, Rohit Pawar, Sudhir Mungantiwar, and senior journalist and author Girish Kuber. The event also saw the participation of actors Shreyas Talpade, Jitendra Joshi, Deepti Talpade and Prarthana Behere.
During his session at Mumbai Tak Baithak, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced, “We will definitely bring the UCC in Maharashtra. A committee will be formed soon, and I will announce that during the Monsoon Assembly Session.”
