Mumbai: Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has announced a leadership transition in its Sales, Marketing and Digital division, with Jan Bures, Executive Director – Sales, Marketing and Digital, set to conclude his global assignment in India and take on a new role at Volkswagen AG from September 2026.
The company acknowledged Bures’ contribution to the Group’s growth in India during his tenure and wished him success in his new global assignment within the Volkswagen Group.
As part of the leadership transition, Piyush Arora, Managing Director & CEO, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, will assume the additional responsibility of Executive Director – Sales & Marketing for the Group’s India operations.
According to the company, the revised leadership structure is intended to strengthen strategic alignment, enable faster decision-making and enhance accountability across the organisation.
Škoda Auto Volkswagen India represents six automotive brands in the country—Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche. The company said it remains committed to the long-term growth potential of the Indian market, with a continued focus on sustainable growth, customer-centric innovation and expanding its product portfolio.
