Mumbai: The superhit suspense thriller Uyir will start streaming on JioHotstar from August 4. Written by Shaji Marad and Nikhil K. Menon, the film is directed by M. Padmakumar and produced by Santhosh Trivikraman under the banner of Wow Cinemas.
Roshan Mathew plays the lead role in the film, alongside Baiju Santhosh, Athulya Chandra, Shruthi Menon, and Sayami Kher in pivotal roles.
The suspense thriller follows Ajib Rahman, a probationary Sub-Inspector at Dharmadam Police Station, as he investigates the mysterious death of an unidentified young woman whose body is discovered in an abandoned well. As the investigation unfolds, he is forced to confront a web of hidden truths and long-buried secrets.
The film’s cinematography is by Ajay David Kachappilly, with editing by Ranjan Abraham and music composed by Manikandan Ayyappa.
Uyir will be available to stream in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
