Mumbai: Bharanidharan Kanakarajan has joined Kenvue as Head of Innovation within its Self-Care Marketing team. He previously worked for Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as Category Marketing Head – OTC Nutrition & Wellness.
In his new role, Kanakarajan will lead the innovation agenda for Kenvue’s leading brands within the Self-Care Marketing team. His responsibilities include driving core business expansion, identifying adjacent consumer need spaces, accelerating category growth and expanding peripheral consumer segments through a 360-degree innovation approach. He will also play a key role in advancing the consumerisation journey for the company’s core self-care brands, with consumer centricity at the heart of the innovation strategy.
Kanakarajan announced the appointment through a LinkedIn post, expressing his enthusiasm about joining what he described as the world’s largest pure-play consumer wellness company.

Kanakarajan brings extensive experience across the consumer healthcare, FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors, with expertise spanning innovation, brand marketing, category strategy and business growth.
Prior to joining Kenvue, he was associated with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. Earlier in his career, he held leadership and marketing roles at Zydus Wellness, Cipla Health Ltd., CavinKare, Vodafone, ITC Limited, and Nestlé S.A., building deep experience across consumer goods, healthcare and telecommunications.
