Mumbai: Thomas Scott (India) Limited (TSIL) has entered into a long-term licensing agreement with ABG-Dockers LLC, a subsidiary of Authentic Brands Group, to introduce the iconic American casualwear brand Dockers® in India. The agreement also appoints TSIL as the brand’s exclusive India licensee and Global Designated Supplier.
Under the partnership, TSIL will lead Dockers’ product design, development, manufacturing, distribution, retail and e-commerce operations in India. As a Global Designated Supplier, the company will also manufacture Dockers products for the brand’s international partner network, strengthening its position within Dockers’ global supply ecosystem.
The collaboration marks Dockers’ formal entry into the Indian market through a fully integrated local platform, combining the brand’s global heritage with TSIL’s technology-led operating model and manufacturing capabilities. The companies aim to establish Dockers as a leading premium bottomwear brand in India before expanding into a broader lifestyle portfolio.
Dockers will make its India debut as a bottomwear-led lifestyle brand with an initial collection featuring chinos, trousers and denim across men’s, women’s and kids’ categories, alongside select apparel and lifestyle products. The portfolio will subsequently expand to include shirts, T-shirts, accessories, footwear and innerwear. The first collection is scheduled for launch during the Autumn/Winter 2026 season through a digital-first strategy across dedicated online channels and leading marketplaces, followed by expansion into exclusive brand outlets, shop-in-shop formats and multi-brand retail.
The agreement builds on TSIL’s vertically integrated fashion platform spanning design, manufacturing, technology, fulfilment and omnichannel distribution. The company currently manages more than 50,000 SKUs across over 15 brands and operates four manufacturing facilities with a production capacity of approximately 1.5 lakh units per month, supported by four fulfilment centres across India.
The partnership also underscores India’s growing importance as both a strategic consumer market for international fashion brands and a globally competitive sourcing and manufacturing hub.
TSIL reported consolidated revenue of ₹254.9 crore in FY26, registering a 58.3% year-on-year growth, reflecting continued momentum across its owned and licensed brand portfolio.

Commenting on the partnership, Vedant Bang, Managing Director, Thomas Scott (India) Limited, said, “Dockers built its heritage on the art of dressing easy and that’s exactly what India is ready for. We’re here to make it the number one name in bottomwear across men, women, and kids, and a lifestyle brand people live in. Our partnership with Authentic gives us the foundation while Global Designated Supplier’s role affirms our manufacturing strength, and the retail license, our distribution reach, especially online.”
Henry Stupp, President, Lifestyle EMEA-India at Authentic, added, “India is an important growth market for Dockers, and Thomas Scott is the right partner to introduce the brand to consumers across the country. Their expertise across product, manufacturing and retail makes them well positioned to build Dockers for long-term success.”
