Mumbai: Truecaller has launched Truecaller Pulse, a first-party, zero-party intent solution integrated into the Truecaller Ads ecosystem, introducing what it describes as an industry-first declared intent media solution aimed at helping brands capture real-time consumer preferences and activate high-intent audiences at scale.
Designed to move beyond traditional behavioural targeting, Truecaller Pulse enables advertisers to directly ask consumers about their preferences, purchase intentions and brand choices, converting these responses into actionable audience segments for campaign planning, targeting and activation.
The solution operates through a three-step framework—Declare, Analyse and Activate. Brands can deploy interactive advertisements posing questions such as preferred smartphone brands, banking preferences or purchase intentions. The Pulse engine then analyses the responses across preferences, emerging category signals and purchase intent before converting them into activation-ready audience segments in near real time.
According to the company, the platform reaches more than 500 million active users through Truecaller’s privacy-safe environments and creates an always-on consumer intelligence loop by integrating audience research, segmentation and media activation within a single workflow.
Truecaller Pulse has been designed to support a range of marketing objectives, including product launches, category discovery and competitive switching campaigns. Beyond campaign activation, the platform also offers Pulse Signals for real-time declared responses, Pulse Insights for aggregated regional and category intelligence, and Pulse Trends to identify shifts in consumer sentiment before they are reflected in sales data.

Commenting on the launch, Hemant Arora, VP & Global Head, Truecaller Ads, said, “Truecaller Pulse gives marketers something extremely valuable: direct consumer answers at unprecedented scale. When consumers tell you what they want, media becomes more precise, campaigns become more efficient, and every marketing decision becomes better informed.”

Adding further, Athul Prabhu, Product Director, Truecaller Ads, said, “The intelligence outputs from Truecaller Pulse extend well beyond campaign activation. Pulse Signals deliver real-time declared responses. Pulse Insights surface aggregated intelligence, regional preferences, emerging product trends, category shifts. Pulse Trends reveal what’s changing in consumer sentiment before it shows up in sales data. All of this feeds back into smarter future campaigns.”
With the introduction of Truecaller Pulse, the company aims to redefine consumer intelligence by shifting the advertising industry’s focus from inferred behavioural signals to declared consumer intent, enabling brands to make more informed media and marketing decisions
