Mumbai: Nielsen has launched Ad Intel AI, an AI-powered media intelligence platform designed to transform fragmented advertising data into real-time, actionable insights for marketers, agencies and media companies.
Described by the company as the only global, independent platform of its kind, Ad Intel AI marks Nielsen’s first product in a new generation of AI-driven solutions aimed at shifting the industry from traditional reporting tools to intelligent, decision-making platforms. The platform is built to help users analyse competitor strategies, advertising spend, creative performance and market opportunities with greater speed and precision.
According to Nielsen, the platform addresses four key priorities—speed, accuracy, interoperability and the ability to convert data into actionable recommendations rather than static reports.

Commenting on the launch, Nielsen Chief Product Officer Akhil Parekh said, “The AI race relies on the most accurate data and that’s what Nielsen owns. The company said Ad Intel AI is the first phase of a broader product roadmap that will see the rollout of additional AI-powered products, enhancements and iterations over the next year. These developments are expected to create an end-to-end advertising ecosystem designed for the AI era, covering the marketing journey from planning to campaign outcomes.
Nielsen said the upcoming suite of products will transform its offerings from conventional reporting tools into interconnected decision-making and recommendation engines, further strengthening its position as a global media intelligence provider.
