Puthiya Thalaimurai TV has announced the first edition of ”Annual Sakthi Awards” on the occasion of women’s day on 8th March 2015 and honoured six women achievers from six different categories of achievements.
1. The Coimbatore based Industrialist Ms. Rajshree Pathi who runs the Rajshree group of companies was conferred with PT Sakthi Award for her Leadership excellence in successfully running a business conglomerate.
2. Professor and research scholar who was actively involved in inventing new methods of cultivation to cope up with the climate change, Dr. Geetha laxmi from the Agricultural university was felicitated with PT Sakthi award for her Knowledge oriented excellence.
3. Ms. Nandhini Murali from Chennai who has displayed a selfless act in saving the lives of two neighbouring children from a burning house was honoured with PT Sakth Award for her Bravery.
4. India’s first female Grand Master Ms. Vijayalakshami was conferred with PT Sakthi Award for her efficiency.
5. The owner of famous spice Brand Sakthi Masala, Ms. Shanthi Durai Swami was honoured with PT Sakthi Awards for her Kindness towards upbringing many under privileged souls by providing the free education.
6. Veteran Actress Manorama who acted in more than 1000 movies with many legends of her times was acknowledged for her monumental achievement towards all forms of performing art.
