Chennai : Advertising Club of Madras has announced the elite panel of jury members for Maddys Award 2016, which will be held in Chennai on 1st April 2016.

Maddys is an annual event of the Advertising Club of Madras to recognize creative brilliance in advertising. Since its inception in 2008, Maddys has been a platform that brings together some of the most celebrated advertising geniuses and allows them to reach out to the fraternity through their work and ideas.

With an eminent panel of judges and newer categories for Digital, Maddys 2016 is going to be bigger and greater than ever.

The eminent panel of judges for Maddys Awards 2016 includes Narayan Devanathan from Dentsu India, Arun Iyer from Lowe Lintas and Joji Jacob from DDB Singapore.

Mr Narayan Devanathan is the Group Executive & Strategy Officer of Dentsu India and ex CEO of Dentsu Creative Impact and National Planning Head Dentsu India, (North)

Arun Iyer Lowe Lintas
Arun Iyer

Mr Arun Iyer is the Chief Creative Officer of Lowe Lintas. In 2005 he worked on the iconic launch of ‘Dirt is Good’ for the detergent brand Surf Excel in India.

Joji-Jacob DDB Singapore
Joji Jacob

Mr Joji Jacob is the Group Executive Creative Director of DDB, Singapore. Award winner in Cannes, D&AD and the One Show. He also won the Creative Circle Award’s Grand Prix twice.

The award show on 1st April 2016 is sure to bring the creative minds from all over the country together, thereby as a platform to meet new people and share new ideas. Awards includes more than 30 categories like print, Television, Radio, outdoor, social media, packaging, etc. All the creative works are judged by an eminent jury of professionals from Indian Advertising Diaspora.

There are three categories of entries, Group 1 with Single piece of work can be entered for each medium (Print, Radio, TVC or Digital), Group 2 entries are media agnostic; hence, print could be fighting against TV or Radio and Group 3 is for Integrated campaign and Digital Integrated campaign. The entry fee for Group 1 and 2 are @ Rs 1650 + Service Tax per entry, while the entry cost for Group 3 will be Rs 6500 + Service Tax.

Last date for entries is 23rd March, 2016. Entries must be from released work for real clients only, except for entries to the ”Unpublished” work category. The work should have been released between 01.01.2015 & 31.12.2015. The same work cannot be entered in multiple categories
