Adidas embeds its stripes into India’s World Cup dream

One team, a billion supporters, three stripes. The sports brand, which is the official kit sponsor for the Indian cricket team, has unveiled a catchy ‘Teen ka dream hai apna’ anthem ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

The video features cricketers Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Mohd Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav, the song has been sung by rapper Raftaar.

“Jo sone na de woh sapna, teen ka dream hai apna.”

For the ICC tournament, Adidas has also changed its jersey design, swapping the three white stripes on the shoulder with the tricolour.

“Hosle ko manzil tak leke challenge.”

The film also captures an essential essence of sport – teamwork, featuring fans playing various sports, but brought together by team spirit.

The film ends on a high with the bold declaration dovetailing into the brand’s tagline: “‘Try karenge toh ‘Impossible is Nothing’.”
