Mumbai: Altimetrik, a pure-play AI, Data, and Digital engineering solutions company, has announced the appointment of Gurvinder Sahni as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and brand transformation, Sahni will spearhead Altimetrik’s next phase of growth, strengthening its position as an AI-first orchestrator for global enterprises. He will report directly to Raj Sundaresan, CEO of Altimetrik.
Sahni joins Altimetrik with a proven track record of building high-impact brands and driving go-to-market excellence. Most recently, he served as CMO at Persistent Systems, where he led the company’s transformation into an AI-led, platform-driven services leader. Under his leadership, Persistent elevated its industry positioning, modernized its brand presence, and deepened ecosystem partnerships across strategic verticals.
Prior to Persistent, Sahni held senior roles at Wipro, including within the Growth Office and Office of the Chairman. During his tenure, he was instrumental in setting up Wipro’s Analyst Relations function and led critical global engagements with organizations such as the World Economic Forum, NASSCOM, and leading research and advisory firms like Gartner, Everest Group, Forrester, HFS Research, and Zinnov.

In his new role, Sahni will lead global marketing and communications, shape a more focused and future-ready brand identity, and accelerate Altimetrik’s go-to-market efforts across core industry verticals. He will also be responsible for simplifying enterprise AI narratives and articulating Altimetrik’s strengths in platform modernization, cloud, data, and AI.
This leadership announcement comes at a time when organizations worldwide are seeking partners to orchestrate end-to-end AI strategies. According to the World Economic Forum, 74% of companies face challenges in scaling AI. Altimetrik, with its expanding ecosystem of partners including OpenAI, is uniquely positioned to meet this demand and lead the emerging AI-first technology services sector.

Sahni holds an MBA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Delhi University, with a focus on accounting and economics. His appointment further bolsters Altimetrik’s executive team as it continues to expand its global footprint and lead with innovation.
