What would be the Top 5 key focus points during 2022?

By Sushant Kumar, CEO & MD, AMO Mobility Solutions

Everyone in the Indian economy must contribute to the creation of a sustainable, eco-friendly world; it is not the responsibility of a single entity alone. Many experts feel that traditional factories and industries should leverage cutting-edge technology to transition to sustainable manufacturing solutions that help both the economy and the environment. For example, there is a lot of hype surrounding the electric vehicle industry and commodities, but it is largely coming from manufacturers and the government. Consumers, on the other hand, although driving demand, have been mostly silent on the subject because many difficulties remain unresolved.

The problem of electrification is progressing steadily across the country, but this cannot be said for rural regions, where mobility and electric vehicles are still a distant dream.

Electric mobility has tremendous promise in terms of both trade and community. Electrification and the adoption of electric vehicles across the country provide both provincial and federal administrations with a chance to make mobility more sustainable and affordable, resulting in a cleaner environment and a healthier population.

Amo Mobility Solutions, which is considered a new EV entity in the country, has shown robust growth and sustainable mobility platforms that can help the country in other ambitious EV projects. Amo Mobility has found credible scopes with electric mobility that would reshape the country’s overall transportation settings.

For us, 2021 brought a huge round of celebrations considering massive sales and the set up of new dealerships in the country; however, there is a lot to achieve yet. Not only are we aiming to expand our production facility but also focus on areas that are vital to nationwide EV adoption. 2022 will be a promising year for Amo Mobility and our partners as we are looking to drive focus to many key areas.

So far, Amo Mobility was keen on high-performance and low-maintenance electric bikes and e-scooters in India. The idea and vision worked well for the company that has seen success with increased revenue and the addition of new channel partners. For us, to continue the high spirit, there are a lot of changes to be made from our company – remaining a strong contender in the EV sector needs continuous overhauling.

The first-generation electric bikes from Amo Mobility have been provided with limited speed, which proved useful for many consumers riding on congested roads in their cities and towns. Our focus in 2022 is profoundly set with a firm motive – i.e. to provide more speed and agility.

While enhanced speed will undoubtedly entice more purchasers, what we believed was a minor change would turn out to be wonderful for riders. Higher speed is very much required, but it also allows you to move quicker and further. If countrywide electrification, battery switching facilities, and charging stations are on the horizon, it makes sense to boost the speed by a factor of two.

We would like to express our gratitude to our staff and frontline salespeople, who have contributed significantly to the growth of Amo’s business potential. Amo has added about 50 new dealerships around the country during the holiday season of 2021, which was simply spectacular. Our desire isn’t only limited to that.

We are always looking for talented sales and marketing people to help Amo and our partners establish a strong income stream. What’s more intriguing is that Amo Mobility will focus on increasing the number of dealerships in Tier-1 cities, which have lacked significant channel partners while we mostly expanded into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

Our key focus would be on increasing the current number of dealerships to around 400 by the end of the fiscal year.

In terms of investment and affordability, Amo Mobility is exploring a range of partnerships with credible firms that would make our business sustainable in the market. Following pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, everybody aligned with the industry has suffered significantly but as we know India is a vast land filled with vibrancy and new opportunities.

Amo is on a mission to increase and boost financial figures in the next year, 2022. That implies we would go through some growth hacking and form agreements with other institutions interested in investing in the company.

Amo had already planned to invest $200 million over the next three years to expand manufacturing and introduce innovation to lower the cost and pricing of our electric scooters.

The EV craze has caught everyone off guard, and India is fortunate to have a robust and competitive EV industry. Although the entire EV ecosystem in the nation is still taking baby steps, EV businesses like Ola, Bajaj, Hero, and Revolt are constantly contending for a bigger market share with their futuristic EVs.

As a result, Amo Mobility has a good possibility of breaking into the top ten and becoming a big player in the market. Investment is a crucial priority in this regard, as we previously highlighted. Getting Amo Mobility into the top three EV manufacturers in India is a huge undertaking, but we all like a good challenge. Isn’t that so?

Finally, Amo Mobility continues to demonstrate great corporate ethics in terms of our beliefs, mission, and working methods. Our vision is strong, and we are doing everything we can to include indigenous components into our top-of-the-line products. Simultaneously, we are ecstatic to add additional targets and ambitions that are consistent with our principles and overarching vision of making India a worldwide powerhouse for electric vehicles.

Businesses like Amo Mobility Solutions that are developing a prosperous and healthy future with e-mobility, rather than clutching to an outdated toxic past, are already attracting capital, expertise, and new opportunities. We are looking forward to an electrifying mobility business for Amo Mobility Solutions in the year 2022.
