Amaravathi: Andhra Pradesh govt recognises the best films and TV Programs every year with Nandi Awards. Due to various reasons the same was not announced since the year 2012.
The state govt has realised this fact recently and invited the applications for 2012 and 2013 and it is in the process of finalizing the same with a high level committee. Now, the govt has also decided to clear the entire back of Nandhi TV and Film Awards till the year 2016.
In this regard, the AP State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation Ltd., has announced the same on 7th March and invited applications from the various stake holders to process the awards till 2016.
The application for Nandhi Awards for the year 2014, 2015 and 2016 will be accepted from 10th March to 31st March 2017. The same needs to be applied online only on the website: www.apsftvtdc.in
The applications must contain the Clippings of the respective Film, TV Program or Theatrical script. Shortlisted applications will be scrutinised by a high level expert committee constituted by the AP govt and the winners of Nandhi awards will felicitated in a grand event organised by the govt.
