Applause Entertainment and Zee Entertainment Enterprises’ Zindagi have announced a partnership to create South Asian content.
The partnership marks the reunion of Applause Entertainment MD Sameer Nair and ZEE’s CCO of Special Projects Shailja Kejriwal. They had previously collaborated at Star Plus and Imagine.
The partnership aims to produce a wide range of South Asian narratives across genres that connect with today’s diverse global audience, informed an official statement.

Applause Entertainment is a content and IP creation venture of the Aditya Birla Group.
Zindagi launched as a channel in 2014, went to ZEE5 in 2020 and recently returned to television as a content VAS on DTH.
