2020 brought itself with many surprises, mixed emotions, instabilities, and a lot of good learnings with the need to relook at everything we’ve done up till now. It’s once in every 100 years that the planet goes through these upheaval changes whether good or bad, right or wrong, tormenting or blissful we have to live through these defies, adapt and move on.

Some of my major learnings from the year 2020 which are going to be my core focus for the year 2021 are:

Health

Yesterday, today, or tomorrow the only thing that stays with us is health. This is what I have always believed in and spread across, and hence inculcated deep within the company culture. As the saying goes “you don’t build a business – YOU BUILD PEOPLE- and then people build the business’’. Only a healthy mind delivers the desired results which is applicable for all so my main focus for the year 2021 would be to implement a healthier lifestyle and train colleagues, and the people around into being more mindful. It has been my foremost priority and will always be.

Automation

The second important thing will be simplifying processes. Technology has been the biggest gift to mankind which has time and again proved itself especially during these testing and unprecedented times. All that breathe have some limitation and that’s where the technology comes in, and the need for automation. Fortunately, automation has been a part of the Chrome DM system for quite some time now. 70 % of our existing tools are fully automated ranging from distribution audits to the OTT audience measurement. 2021 will help us bring more transformation and transparency to serve the industry better.

SaaS, PaaS

The world is swiftly moving towards digitization. If data is oil then interfaces are the mediums to use it. From managing finances to managing clients to ordering food or booking a place/ cab, interfaces have made everyone’s life easier… so if the zooms/ googles meets/ Microsoft teams/ Netflix’s/ discovery pluses of the world are the new normal then there’s a need for equal competitive tools for the business operations. Our latest PaaS – Chrome AD Sales, Chrome News Track, Chrome Ad Track, Chrome LIVE, and Chrome OTT are in line with the same, to help businesses with the data on-the-go. This is the future and being the big data company the way forward for us.

Customer retention

More focus on client servicing. Rome wasn’t built in a day. It took Chrome DM 12 years and 32 tools to reach 400 clients and many international partners now, and servicing has always been important to us. Most of the processes have already been laid whether it is to facilitate clients with the real-time tagging of news or immediate runs on Chrome Ad sales or daily OTS on Chrome LIVE. The endeavour will be to keep on evolving and delivering as per the changing needs.

Consumer Delight

Chrome DM is committed towards delivering excellence to its partners across all its services. We will continue to surprise and bring the best of technologies to serve the industry better.
